IAA #1451 - Teacher Evaluator Competency Skill Building – Assessing
Danielson Domains 1 and 4 

#1451 is a professional practice academy focusing on Danielson domains 1 and 4. Along with IAA #3000 Student Growth, this academy would complete retraining requirements for teacher evaluators.

IAA # 3000– Teacher Evaluator Retraining – Student Growth

#3000 is a required retraining academy for administrators who evaluate teachers or principals.

Keep in mind, unless you are due next year, these academies can be taken over a two-year period to fulfill the annual IAA requirements.

IAA 3820 KIDS: Equitable and Sustainable Evidenced-Based Practices

Participants will be able to:

1) Identify evidenced-based practices for interpreting and using KIDS data to inform sustainable techniques and strategies to address the needs of students including students who are multilingual learners and students with disabilities, analyze strategies and techniques of evidence-based practices for interpreting and using KIDS data to inform the needs of students and professional learning needs of educators and administrators


2) Determine how to effectively implement developmentally appropriate, equitable, inclusive strategies when implementing KIDS for all learners; and


3) Develop and implement effective evidence-based family engagement strategies to support children's transition from early childhood education and care to kindergarten.

IAA #3738 Utilizing Kids Data (Online Course)

Using KIDS data can help build equity by identifying what skills students bring to Kindergarten and how teachers can support them as they develop throughout the school year and beyond. The KIDS Survey is a predictor of social/emotional development and academic success as indicated by high-stakes testing in third grade. In this academy, administrators will analyze KIDS data and teaching practices to support student growth and bridge the achievement gap.
